Participación en el espacio público
La propuesta emplea todas las escalas en una estrategia cuyo objetivo es recuperar las zonas obsoletas de Wittenberge. También se requiere la conexión entre las mismas, por lo que se propone una red de recorridos que guiarán a los transeúntes en la ciudad a través de pequeñas intervenciones. Los solares vacíos en desuso se transformarán en espacios públicos temporales, usando los dispositivos móviles y las ideas dispuestas por los ciudadanos en los talleres de los Silos.

Se presenta  un sistema de gestión que emplea tanto a estamentos públicos como privados para decidir los usos más adecuados, con la ayuda provista de un estudio de actividades-oportunidad. Se plantea una estrategia progresiva capaz de vincular uso y necesidad. El proceso incluye rehabilitación estructural, comunicaciones verticales y nuevos huecos en fachada, permitiendo las primeras ocupaciones de los edificios.

Take Part in the Public Space

The intervention aims to recover the obsolete areas in Wittenberge through a strategy involving all the scales. A connection between them is needed too, so a network of routes is proposed. These paths will guide pedestrians with simple interventions through the city.
The empty plots with no current use will be transformed into temporary public spaces, using the mobile devices and ideas created by citizens in the workshops held in the Storehouses.

A management system is presented, involving public and private entities together to define the best suited uses, helped by the opportunity-activity study provided. A progressive strategy that could join use and necessity is thought out. The process includes structural rehabilitation, vertical communications and new façade openings, leading to the first occupations of the buildings.
